Get the best out of your bed and mattress

How many hours do you spend on your bed? Let’s see, at least 8 because you sure need the rest, another 2 hours when you relax on a lazy Sunday morning. At least one and a half when you sit comfortably and read those projects you have from work and some others when you simply browse the internet and update your statuses on various social media sites. Did I get it right or should I add some more hours that you spend in bed?


So if we spend so much time in bed, and it’s so important for our health why don’t we get the best? Did you know most of us have chosen our bed incorrectly or haven’t changed our mattress in ages? Yeah, you are not alone! But let’s make a new year resolution and make 2013 the year when we actually make a purchase that is valuable for our own well being (no, shoes don’t count as well being, and you know it :P).

First of all think of your space, you don’t want to get a king sized bed if your room is tiny and you will feel restricted. Opt for the correct size for your body type and the room and you will feel a lot better with a bed that lets you move in your room. Ask for help, if you shop online you must always ask for guidance - there will be someone to tell you the best tips and to guide you to your perfect choice.


Mattresses can be a mind field, different sized is the easy part, then there’s brands and styles like memory foam, Sealy and Silentnight and now you can even buy orthopaedic mattresses. Don’t forget storage beds, sometimes the extra space helps you be more organized.
