Bring Spring into your home with new curtains

by - 01:00

Think positive, Winter is almost over the big freeze is coming to a close and Spring will soon arrive with her fairy tale scents and colours, And what better way to welcome this amazing season into your home if not by changing your curtains and opening your windows wide.

Winter is a time for curtains and blinds with strong colours and matte materials, heavy duty fabric to block out those winter nights and keep your home warm but for spring you should go for pale and softer fabrics. Veils and soft silks should be perfect for your home. If you add some floral prints or natural elements the surprise will be even greater.

You will see your rooms light instantly and you will notice immediately a change in your mood. Ideal would be to start the change when you notice the first changes in nature, it will be even better if you make them before the cold season is entirely done. It helps our brain to accommodate the new season and avoid spring anxiety or even depression.

Go for warm tans, blues, greens and yellows to evoke a renewal for your interiors, using the warm colours you will bring a positive feel to your rooms. Also feel free to add elements that remind you of your past springs - certain flowers you love (who can resist beautiful daffodils), details of nature (think green poison ivy leaves) or the bright beautiful sun. All these elements can be part of your spring curtains and blinds makeover - find them all at the Range, I’ve already found some that will sure make my season brighter and more positive.

What are your plans for your spring curtains - are you going for trendy colours or warm pastel ones?
