You want to redecorate your dining area and you aren't sure yet what should you change? Dining rooms are usually hard to re-think since they represent a bit more than a regular room to every family - they keep special moments, first anniversaries and many memorable times.

But you can use all that in your advantage and a sofa might be just what you need. First of all think space - with a corner sofa you could maximize your dining table space. Use a corner of the room to place a sofa, then make the table the focus and add a few chairs. You will instantly create a larger space and you will have the middle of the room free.

You can use a normal sofa to divide between your dining area and the rest of the room, if you want to divide your living room into two different areas. A big sofa in a strong colour will sure mark that limit and give that sense of separate spaces.

Also, you can create a cosy place in your room where you can serve dessert or drink coffee. A small sofa in soft colours and a pedestal table should be perfect to define a warm and relaxing corner where you and your family can bond after dinner that’s not as formal as a set dining table.

Feel free to opt for a colour scheme that speaks to your family and that will revive your dining area. Visit Furniture Choice for ideas and new styles, their recent collections will look great in your home.

Upgrade is designed by Giorgio Soressi for italian manufacturer Calligaris. The broad angularity of the sofa is supplemented by a soft padding. The backrest can be adjusted to a number of different positions, using a exposed snap mechanism in chrome-plated metal.
