San Francisco based interior designer Beth Daecher founded bdhome in 2002 after undertaking a full-scale renovation of her family's Noe Valley home.  Formally trained in engineering at Cornell University, and interior design at the University of California, Berkeley, Beth found herself collaborating heavily with her architect and builder to fine-tune existing designs and drawings to make them better suited for her family.  Immersing herself in the project, Beth discovered that her personal renovation was a full-time job that suited her perfectly.
